I've been fighting minotaurs on Solahmar and I was wondering if there is any use for Syorta Ore. Can I do anything with it? Can I sell it, and if so where?

It's for Doruth's quest. If you're level 34 or higher you should talk to him in the mines.
All you have to do is collect 5 syorta ore bags and come back to him.
The reward is either a Holy Discus (wizards) or a Holy Lance (warriors) and 6000 exp.
