We are very pleased to announce that the very first TibiaME HiRes Client is now released in an early Alpha version. "Alpha version" means that the client is still in development, but that it can already be tested on Nokia's top seller, the 5800 MusicXpress.

Here are all the details concerning what's already working, what's not working yet, and what you need in order to use it:

1.Important to know
- This Alpha client only works on Nokia 5800 MusicXpress. It will be available to further mobile phones at a later stage (no time defined yet).
- Not all graphics and elements of the user interface are completed, yet. They might vary from the actual release.
- You will play with it on your regular game world, not on a test server.
- Play with caution! - there might be unexpected bugs and client crashes at any time.
- Here and there you will experience performance problems, e.g. when going up or down stairs, or when using any kind of menu. Therefore, please be careful and patient while playing!
- Please also note that there will be no compensation in case of unexpected bugs or client crashes while using the Alpha client!

3.Installation
Before you install the Alpha client, you have to choose the right installation settings in your Nokia 5800 MusicXpress. Go to Settings > Application Mgr. > Installation settings and choose:
- Software Installation: all
- Online Certificate check: off
- Default web address: none
This is necessary for a clean installation of the Alpha client.

4.Controls
There are different ways to interact with the game world and the user interface. Keep in mind that you have to apply a little pressure on the touch screen of Nokia's 5800 MusicXpress to use the controls.

- Tap the screen to let your character walk to a spot or to select an item.
- Keep your finger pressed down to open a context menu.
- Use the D-pad (directional pad) to move your character up, down, left or right. Keep a direction pressed down to activate auto-walk.
- Alternatively, swipe across the screen to move your character in a direction. Keep your finger pressed down at the end of your swipe to activate auto-walk.

5.In case of bugs and crashes
Please help us to improve this client! If you experience any kind of bug or client crash, please report it back in the bug report thread we have started. If possible, add screenshots and tell us exactly what happened.

6.Known issues
- General performance problems
- Minimap is not implemented, yet
- Premium menu is not accessible
- Some graphics are still LowRes (e.g. Warrior Girl) or contain graphical errors
